  2. swensen

    billy bombers

    kenny rogers

    fish & co.

    bali thai

    cafe cartel

    secret recipes

    thai express

    siam kitchen

    gurame

    seoul garden

  3. I guess celebrating at a hotel cafe or restaturants will be good. Since you have not stated what kind of food, I shall provide you with a mix suggestions. They are:

    - For Italian, you can try Pasta Fresca. You may visit the website at http://www.pastafresca.com/BranchSingapo...

    - For international buffet, you can try Plaza Hotel at Beach Road.

    - For steamboat buffet, try Liang Seah street. There are quite a few good ones. If you can spend about $30++ (Dinner), you can try COCA restaurant at Concourse or Taka.

    - For Japanese food, try Copthorne King's Japanese restaurant. They serve Japanese buffet dinner.

    Happy eating!!

  4. crystal jade?

you can have the set menu at that price.. the food is yum!!

  5. The best curry that i ever had was in the Indian sector, not fancy, but the foods great. Prices are realistic as well. Its not where all the holiday makers go !!

  6. geylang got a lot

  7. that italian restaurant in tanjong pagar is called OSO. and its a pretty good restaurant but expect to pay at least $65 each.

For a cost at 30plus, you should choose places with good set lunches.

ITALIAN: Garibaldi ($28 for 3-course set lunch) located at Purvis Street

Da Paolo (either Il Giardino near Serene Center or the one in Holland V) ($22 for 3 course set lunch). decor not as good as garibaldi but provides quality.

FRENCH: Saint Julien (around 20 or 30 for set lunch) located in Boathouse near Fullerton Hotel

Les Saisons (small restaurant near Saint Pierre in Central Mall; $26 for set lunch course)

Les Amis. Arguably one of fanciest and most expensive restaurant in S'pore. $48 for set lunch. Nice decor. Pro service, but food is quite erratic and not always consistent

Japanese: Shiro (greenwood avenue); $40 and above for set lunch. My fav j*p restaurant

Chinese: Crystal Jade or Imperial Treasure. Cannot go wrong with those two.

To impress, french and japanese are more ideal. I'm a food conoisseur and I have tried all the popular and fancy restaurants here. I've tried restaurants in paris that cost over $600. So you just gtta trust me. Good Luck.
