Try My So Called Life. I feel was one of the best series to come out capturing the realism of teenage life in all its awkward glory. Jared Leto was so hot in that show.

If you want a little more drama, watch Thirteen and Kids. They're pretty raw kind of movies, definitely not fluff, and nothing like Mean Girls.

breakfast club good film,

there are quite a few films that are similar with the same charecters. Like saint elmos fire, weired science is prity funny it has the blonde kid in from breakfast club. And one of my faves is ferris buelers day off. that film is exelent.
