Any national agency that assists with emergency crisis assistance?

Family facing eviction. We need help ASAP. Someone please care enough not to see us homeless.

If you are in Australia and involved with Centrelink try a Social Worker at your local Centrelink office as they will be able to refer you to crisis accommodation directly or to an agency that specialises in crisis accomodation.If you check your local phone directory or with your local Council they too may be able to direct you to a particular housing authority that deals with crisis accomodation.There are also many community service agencies who may be able to help such as The Salvation Army, Anglicare, Brotherhood of St laurence etc. Also, try this website  http://www.melbourne.homeless.org.au/abo...
