Have there been anything new about physics we found with the LHC?

Has the "Higgs" particle been found yet?

  1. The LHC first proton beam is september 10th, then a few weeks later there will be the first collisions then a few more weeks maybe months to analyze the data, so probably we'll have results by December at he latest, but there is no telling how long it will take to find new particles like the Higg's Boson  


  2. I didn't think it was finished to the point where they could conduct experiments yet.  I'll have to double-check on that.

    There is no way to tell if a Higgs particle exists until experimental data begins to be collected and analyzed.

  3. No. LHC hasn't yet been activated.
