a good question! I too long for a new rpg to play. As mentioned above, Fall Out 3 is on the horizon. Sacred 2 is coming soon, but it of more of a Diablo clone, though I played the first one and enjoyed it.

There are a few.  Most notable is Fallout 3.  It's being developed by Bethesda, the people who made the Elder Scrolls series.
