  1. For transportation, ethanol is one source of fuel that is proven and already in use, as is biodiesel.  Electric cars and hybrids may also cut down on our need for gasoline, and potential hydrogen fuel cell cars may completely reinvent our infrastructure closer to the middle of this century.  Right now, I would have to say that the most interesting alternative fuel cars on the road are small cars powered by compressed air which are built in India, and sold for relatively low prices compared to most new cars.

For electricity, there are renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, as well as more fringe power generation methods like ocean based power plants which harness the power of the changing tides to spin turbines.  Hydroelectric power is more widely used and, despite it's environmental disadvantages, is much better for the Earth than coal or oil.

The most promising form of alternative electricity generation, though, seems to be nuclear power.  It is cheap, proven, and produces much less toxic material than coal or oil plants.  Environmentalist groups are starting to support nuclear power, and politicians in Washington seem ready to okay plans for four new nuclear plants in the next decade.  Those plants could power several million homes, and, if more are built, we could easily provide the electricity for electric cars without using any fossil fuels at all.

  2. I know that Grandpa Munster had a pill that could turn water into gasoline !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. its CNG (COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS)

  4. Yes the propagation of Global Warming is pouting us in danger of world depression.

  5. Considering the millions of gallons Earthlings need every day, there is no alternative product available that can be produced in sufficient quantities.

    None.

And much of the world still burns oil and coal for electric power so the electric cars are no help.

And much of the world lives outside of cities and therefore need a power supply tht is independent of an electric and natural gas grid.

And much of the world needs to ship products by truck which require the ability to travel far distances.

And much of the world is unwilling to cram four adults into cars that can realistically and comfortably carry only two.

And most of the world cannot afford the new generation of cars that must be replaced after three years.

And much of the world recognizes that there is still a lot of oil out there that is not being utilized ... except by countries like China and Russia who have almost NO environmental controls.

The answer will probably come in the next 100 years or less, the answer will best be found by allowing free market interests and science to discover it.

  6. See the website www.terralenefuels.com and you will have your answer.

  7. I wish someone would be brave enough to make A LOT of people angry, not to mention fear for their lives, to mass produce something. I am not listening to those who are making millions off us when they say it's not possible. To me it's like the first time the caveman saw fire! Only now, some people think they can keep it a secret from others, while they feed off of us. Just look at this video I found. By the way, I am not associated with any of this.Theres lots of other stuff you can easily find on the net. We will be researching this ourselves in the very near future.
