  1. There are plenty and some of them aren't even on the internet.  For the best deals on the internet check here:

  2. During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.

  3. A place call Julie Complex .It is is budget hotel near the end of Walking Street that has an amazing sea view.

  4. Pattaya Park Beach Resort, 1,300 bath/night http://www.thailandbooking.org/pattaya/p...

the full facilities resort with theme park & water park, Moreover, Pattaya Park has it own private beach.

For more budget hotels in Pattaya price less than 1,000 baht http://www.ThailandHotelsDestination.com...

  5. the only one in that range is sawasdee sea view..

i personally stayed in amari orchid ocean tower. Excellent hotel, great view, clean beach in front, less crowded. if you book in off-peak july and aug thru website www.amari.com/orchid , u get special price 4900 baht....

    All the best

  6. I'd recommend Sawasdee Sea View Pattaya Hotel. Located in central Pattaya, and very close to the beach. There are a few arcades there which provide reasonable pricing to tourists. Surprisingly, original items (made in Thailand) are quite cheap compared to the items in Bangkok. There's a pharmacy, bar, tattoo parlor, convenient store and laundry facility on the same street (within 1 minute walking). standard US$15, superior US$21/night (end July) with breakfast. http://discovery-thailand.com/Hotels%20M...

  7. There are hotels close to the beach but not every room has a view.   One cheap place that comes to mind is the Sawasdee Sea View.  Link: http://www.sawasdee-hotels.com/

You could just get a room anywhere and then check out a couple places.  Lots of hotels are only a short walk to the beach anyway.

Pattaya Beach is okay for walking, shopping, restaurants, malls, street vendors and small shops but tourists don't usually swim there!  Many hotels have pools, the water at nearby Jomtien or Naklua is cleaner for "beach type" swimming.

    Good luck.
