Hi all,

Has anybody travelled to Perú (Machu-Picchu) from Toronto on some kind of package? I would like to know if you know of all-included packages and the like, and when would it be cheapest to travel?

Thank you all.

  1. well, i would like to know if you want to go to macchupicchu for one day or you want to do inka trail for 5 or 7 days to arrive in macchu picchu. If you will go only to cusco, may be its better that you buy your ticket toronto-lima-toronta and yu can buy for internet in www.lan.com.pe your ticket lima-cusco-lima. you can find it in US$120-140 this ticket if you book it with time.

If you will go only to cusco  may be one day to see the city and near ruins of sacsayhuaman, kenko, tambomachay, one day in urubamba valley, chincheros and ollantaytambo, the next day go by train to macchupicchu and if you want you can take one night in the aguas calientes town and return to macchupicchu the next day. But if you wants to do Inka Trail you will need 5 or 7 days to do it and arrive in macchupicchu. Its an amazing trip but you must have a good phisical condition to do this Inka trail!!

About hotels, it could be casa andina hotel, confortable. nice place, its not expensive, they have 5 hotels there, 2 of them more cheap than the others. you can visit www.casa-andina.com. The rate include a nice breakfast!!!

I recommend you, dont take a package include all meals, cause you will find great restaurants and of all kind of prices in cusco, very nice places !!!

Hope you decide to come and dont forget that the peruavian food is one of the best in the world and our peruvian drink: PISCO SOUR!!! Delicious!
