I've had a look on UCAS at the ones local to me (w.mids) and all the entry requirements say i need a Btec national to get in, but then they say 'not including early years' which is unfortunate as that's the course i'm doing.

Anyone have any idea of child nursing courses i could do with just GCSEs. I have 5+ A-C grade GCSEs

  1. Look at www.nmas.ac.uk   its the nursing version of ucas. I started my nurses training (didn't finish it tho!) in 2004 with just GCSE's. I studied at London Southbank. The first year of my course was general nursing, although placements were in your area of nursing, i was doing children's so my placements were all at Great Ormond Street (that happens to be the NHS trust working with the uni i was at.

    Good Luck

  2. I'd say get the Nursing degree first ...then you can specialize wherever you want.
