Funny Andy, I just asked the same question.  I am a Tiger fan, and I think that this is the most impressive thing he has ever done.  Winning this tournament was more important to him than the entire rest of his season.  That is dedication.  Its no wonder he is the best.

Well Thomas, it's Retief Goosen who said that.. He said, "he only hurt when he hit a bad shot".."Obviously if his knee was really bad he would have withdrawn"..  that's ridiculous no?

I watched the match, and sometimes he hit a good tee shot, hitting the fairway, yet he still showing the knee pain...

Well, this guy has won 13 major before US 08, why would he faked the knee pain to make him like a hero? he already a hero, even if he didn't win his 14..

I did not hear anyone suggest that he was exaggerating his injury.  It is assumed that he had a surgical intervention on his knee.  Maybe, the orthopedist is involved in a fraud?   What would the "end game" be for Tiger and his doctor to concoct a story about knee surgery?   Tiger Hater?   What does that mean?  Of course a lot of people would like to see the underdog win on the back nine on any given Sunday.  It is similar to rooting for the Cubs.  We are not "Cardinal Haters."  Tiger has set amazing records given the nature of his sport. In fact, Tiger himself, once explained that gold is the only game in which you play as well as you can and lose to someone with less talent. The reason:  the other professional plays the game of his life.  I would be reluctant to issue a "Tiger Hater" statement.  Unless you maintain that underdog supporters are "Tiger Haters."   Golf fans are bit more advanced in their view of sport than most groups.  I think.
