...To help with his fertility too? I read that Folate helps keep his sperm healthy, and it's one of the vitamins that help with preventing miscarriages, and Down's Syndrome. Just wondering, so if any of you are having him take any, which ones, and why?

  1. I have heard that Vitamin E and Zinc are good for sperm production.  Also, folic acid is good for both men and women.  You can get this easily by eating lots of dark green leafy greens like Kale.  Look up on www.allrecipies.com for some dish ideas to try it.  The Kale soup isn't bad.  Good luck.

  2. I started my husband on a multivitamin about 6 months ago.   I bought the generic active men's formula at Wal Mart.

A daily multivitamin can help provide selenium, zinc and folic acid — trace nutrients that are important for optimal sperm production and function. A multivitamin also usually contains antioxidant vitamins such as C and E, which may help protect sperm from damage.
