My cousin is highly alergic and we were near a forest fire in Placerville Ca, he swelled up like a baloon and his airway consticted and he almost didn't make it.

I was lmao i couldnt help it.. but I got him to the hospital in time luckily...

that is just about the stupidest thing i have ever heard. could cause a very serious, maybe potentially fatal pneumonia. burning doesnt inactivate the stuff that causes the blistering rash in people, so you would basically get poison oak inside your lungs. dont go anywhere near burning poison oak or poison ivy, let alone intentionally try to smoke it. if you tried it you should be going to a doctor or the hospital asap

erika: i know what he is saying, but if someone asks a question like this they were probably either asked to try it, read/heard about it and are thinking about doing it, or tried it
