  1. outsiders

    daywatch series ( about demons)

everlost ( the great book ever!!!!!!!)

  2. If she's bright, you might try A wrinkle In Time, by Madelien L'Engle.

    Smart kids love that book.

  3. Might sound a bit corny nowdays- but the Babysitter Club, Sweet Valley High and Nancy Drew books were great when I was that age, and all three of them come with different groups, kids, high school, uni, etc, so she can start at the bottom, she'll quickly work her way up if the younger ones are too easy.

Roald Dahl books are awesome, highlights, Matilda, George's Marvelous Medicine.

For more substance, Steven Herrick books, one called Peeling the Onion, Markus Zusak books,  Colin Thiele, and to tell you the truth, the best way is just go to the library.  If all else fails, Harry Potter is a winner every time!

  4. The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho.

  5. Anne Of Green Gables (the series) by L.M. Montgomery

The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge

The Mermaid Summer by Mollie Hunter

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

The True Confessions Of Charlotte Doyle by Avi

Mr. Popper's Penguins by Richard & Florence Atwater

The Chronicles Of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

    The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

The Nancy Drew Mysteries by Carolyn Keene

The Fudge books by Judy Blume

  6. the choronicles of narnia is considered elementary school level

ella enchanted [good moral to it, i remember liking it in 4th grade]

the wish? the wish list? i dont remember what its called lol

    ummm hmmm....

    uhhh bridge to teribithia

artemis fowl series [im on the Lost colony right now actually lol]

thats all i can think of at the moment, happy reading =D

  7. I don't know if these are 4th grade level but

    Magic Treehouse Books

    Boxcar Children

    Junie B Jones

I think these are about 4th grade but I can't remember, these might be too easy. Oh, what about Little House On The Prarie. I loved those!

  8. She could probably read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer if she is mature.

    Or Gone by Michael Grant.

If she isn't that mature, try the magic treehouse Series? I read them in 2nd -3rd grade and they really got me into books.
