I use up all my holiday every year and go to Salou i love it!!

I have not stayed at the hotel you mentioned, i stay at Estival Park, they have about 5 different hotels in one area, its 2 minutes walk from the beach, 5 minutes to the Aquopolis water park, has a whole bunch of sea front shops, bars, restaurants so in my opinion the location is ideal!

Also very close by is a large market, regular buses and trains that can take you to Barcelona or Port Aventura.

I stayed in that hotel several years ago and it was great, a good walk to beach but lots of pubs beside it.

I Like the Costa Brava better then the Costa Dorada ( Salou) etc myself.. I went a few weeks back and well i found it to be a bit too touristy for my taste..

i have just come back from salou on the 27th may

the weather wasnt great it rained for 4 days out of 7 but when it didnt it was 27-32 degrees

i stayed in the vil.la romana hotel which was 10 mins from port aventura, great holiday overall

enjoy yourself and hope the weather is good for you
