  1. It can't hurt if he's batting is developed more!!

  2. NO

  3. yes his dad was also an excellent batsman obviously dad taught him a thing or two about batting .. lets face it england need all the batting they can get

  4. hes enjoying his batting., and time really well.. he was impressive

  5. He is a good bat, that lad. But I would encourage him to concentrate on his bowling which is very much needed. He is in the team to take wickets, and that's what he should concentrate on. It's the job of the top order to score runs. Whatever runs he scores should be a bonus for England.

His ideal batting slot is of No. 7.

  6. with time comes maturity.. and Broad is sure to be one good allrounder in the making...

he batted very very well yesterday..

he even happened to be the highest scorer in England 2nd innings. So, these are good signs... keep it up Broad..

  7. Yes, but don't put him up one place, stick him at three and get rid of vaughn. He's scoring more runs than him anyway!

  8. I think Stuart Broad is consistently performing well with bat as well and I completely agree that he should be promoted in batting order.

  9. I agree with you.

  10. yea i think it would give england a well needed boost

  11. Now England have got 2  all rounders

  12. He has done well in both test matches against SA in batting. Better than the bowling, so who's gonna get the wickets for England now?!

  13. I agree with U.

Becoz Struad Board will be a good allrounder for England.

  14. In comparison with a useless performance by the team, yes.

  15. yes what a great come back by Stuart Broad especially after the bowling performance , wherein he was taken for 36 runs (6 sixes)  in one over by Yuvraj, this is the beauty of the glorious game of cricket!

thanks for asking such great Q !

    best regards!

  16. Now England have got 2 genuine all rounders, If only they can find a great spinner who can atleast take wickets on the 4th and 5th day it would a pretty good side.

  17. impressed he should be trained by coach and others to become an all rounder...

  18. It's his second test fifty in as many matches. Destined for all-rounder status in the future, of that there is no doubt.

  19. Yes.  He is a good prospects to be a genunien all-rounder.  In current scenario, only Kallis is a genunine all rounder and any inclusion is welcome.

  20. His batting was good but SA bowled really badly to him they gave him mostly shortish balls all that he could play off the backfoot he never had to come forward once to play a ball I think SA underestimated him to a certain extent and had no plans to bowl to him

  21. so we have someone who can bat at 6 or 7 all we need now is 5 top order batters and 4 bowlers who can take 5 wickets each in a test.
