Any one else mad that the harry potter and the half blood prince release date got changed??

So, i just saw on yahoo that the release date for HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE got changed to next summer.

Yeah, i know that i sound like a geek, but why would they get all the die hard fans hopes up???

they'll make just as much money in november as in july.

maybe they just want us to anticipate it more. but its like psh, ive been anticipating the movies since the book first came out!

Money, money, money!!! What about the fans? It would be okay if it were for production purposes, maybe making it even more fantastic, or maybe doing it so that 6 & 7 can be released closer together for a story plot to make the last one go out with a bang?! All I know is doing it for money.......wow don't think Harry would agree.

I am so UNBELIEVABLY upset/disappointed/angry/crushed that words cannot describe how I feel right now. I actually cried trying to retain the fact I'll have to wait another almost 8 MONTHS to see the film. I text all my friends in despair as soon as I found out! I even called my mum at work.. :$.

And another thing that annoyed me MORE is I asked a question about other fans upset about this situation, I got losers commenting me like 'read the book.' Well, Im sorry, but what fan of the HP series doesn't watch the films as well? We are die hard fans you idiots!

I'm finding it hard not to be mad at WB, but I can't even use the excuse 'everything happens for a reason' because the only reason released is about money & ticket sales, but I KNOW that whatever month HP is released it will be a top movie. The one advantage of all this is if the premiere is pushed back to July too then we can all bombard the beautiful Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe at the summer premiere because we don't have to be at school! :)

I am REALLY depressed though. It is nice to know ome people share my Harry Potter pain! :(

Maybe because it is close to the date of release of the twilight movie... =/ thats just a wild guess.... i dont understand why they should do that. And the trailer made me excited =(

i am angry and depressed!!! Theyre wrong about making more money!!! Look at ootp, that made the most money out of all the potter films, that was released in November! I seriously hope they notice the fans reactions and reconsider!!! JK Rowling should make a public statement about WB's greediness and make them change their mind!!!

p.s. prisoner of azkaban made the least amount of money and that was released in June(it would have been in cinemas July though) This proves how wrong WB are!!!

YES! I just figured this out today in fact. What makes me most mad is that they already released the trailer, but they're postponing it until July? That's a LONG time! I'd rather see it in November, than July, I 'm just really angry about this whole thing. I think HP6 would make just as much money in November.

That's bull. It's supposed to come out Nov. 18 It's bad enough they're going to have cut out a bunch of stuff and won't follow the books as closely as they should but to push it back another 6 months, you've got to be kidding me. So yeah, I'm a little less than happy.

I was P.O.'d!!!!!!!! And still am! I can't believe it! I was just thinking yesterday, " I'm excited that it's coming out soon!" And then I find out about it coming out next summer. Holy c**p am I mad. I mean....I'm not like a Harry Potter crazed fan...but I do enjoy the movies. I'm gonna form a petition or something..lol...like that'll work...

It's because originally it was supposed to be released in November. They changed it to next summer because that is the time where people buy more tickets. lame.
