Question:

Any one has ever been here or seen this monument ? I need a detailed account on how to go there?

Early spring of 1945,the end of WW2,Janpese killed 13 oversea-chinese because their protest against to the forced buying system of rice to memory them, people built a monument with chinese "民族正气"and what bad thing Janpese had done were wortten on the back ,beside it ,the 13 oversea-chinese were sleeping in the grave and their picture were hang on the wall of the museum of the chinese meeting hall in hoi an city

I am now working in a tourist agency and I am so Surprised that we have a request form Janpan ,in 11 this year a big Tourist group of students will go this place to condolence the martyr this realy moved me you know you can not find any words about this case that means some Janpese doesn't want their childen know anything bad ,anything woring the Janoese army had done during the war but it is uesless ,I mean one day in the future nothing will keeping on underground just because there are so many people love peace such like these Janpese,so if you know sth tel me

  1. hoi an is VERY small, you can walk around the town 3 times in one day.. if you go , if there is such a monument , just ask anyone on the street , if it is there they will know it for sure.not much is kept "underground "in viet nam anymore .. if it is there the people will tell you .. they are VERY open and proud of their history , as they should be....there are MANY ancient japanese structures right in the city tour run by the vietnamese government right in the town of hoi an. take the tour [ available anywhere, hotels, tour shops] and ask .. if it is there they WILL take you ....but i never heard of it....
