  1. I am really loving a good Thai peanut sauce lately.

For the tofu, simply drain and press out excess water.  Cut into cubes and place the tofu on skewers.

Put skewers into a plastic zipper bag and pour in some soy sauce, oil, and water.  Let the tofu and skewers marinate in the bag for about an hour.

Take the tofu out of the bag, brush with oil and place on hot bbq grill and grill until crispy and browned, turning occasionally.

    Make the Peanut Sauce.

    Ingredients:

1 cup fresh smooth peanut butter

    1/2 cup hot water

2 cloves garlic, finely minced and mashed

    2 Tablespoons soy sauce

    1 teaspoon ground cumin

    1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder

    1/2 teaspoon curry powder

    1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

    Preparation:

In the blender, whisk peanut butter, hot water, garlic, soy sauce, cumin, cayenne, curry powder, and lemon juice together to form a smooth paste. Cover and set aside for several hours to allow the flavors to mix well. Turn into jars and seal; store in the refrigerator.

When the tofu is done drizzle the peanut sauce over top or serve the sauce in small bowls for dipping the tofu.

  2. This sounds horrible, but it is amazing.  It's a grill sauce that is best on pork ribs, but fantastic on chicken also...melt the butter in a pan and throw the rest in until its melted together well...

    appx.

    1/2 cup butter

    1 cup Worcestershire sauce

    1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter

    2 lemons, juiced

to taste, garlic powder, pepper and salt
