Any one have any Tough workouts?

im looking for a tough workout. im thirteen. im trying out for feild hockey next year and i want to get ready for it over the summer. Does anyone have any feild hockey workouts. But it has to be fun other wise ill be so bored. becuz i want to have fun this summer while getting ready and in shape

  2. My guest is that you're a female.  Not many (or any) talk about anything other than ice hockey in this section.  I can suggest that you are consistent in jogging, push ups, and bicycle sit-ups.

  3. Two of my cousins did field hockey.  Their coach told them to "weighted runs" to get ready for the season.  Pretty much what you need is a pair of ankle weights and forearm weights strapped on you.  Here are some URLs for you.

    Then start running with the extra weight.  Throw your arms up and down are you run at pace or half pace with your legs.  As the months go on, add on weight.  

    By the time you are ready for the season, you will have some great running and sprinting ability.  To top it off, your arms will have enough strength to really get some impact hitting the ball with your field stick.  

    Both of my cousin's teams went to the state finals tournament this way.

  4. I bike 10 - 20 miles a day rain or shine whether if it's 70 degrees or 110 outside but this prepares me for ice or street hockey. I don't know what to recommend to you for field hockey.
