Any one have great knowledge on japan's homegrown religion(shinto and omnyoudo)? how different are they?

these two religion seem abit simliar what are their differences? any good website to reccommend?

As Wikipedia shows, Ommyou-Dou is a kind of philosophy with some special personnel magical power.

On the contrary Shinto is a kind of political religion of polytheism and used to be national religion in the past in Japan. Those days Japanese Emperor was a God for the citizen.
