Any one in Scotland wishing to teach ballet or give advice?

Please if anyone is up for teaching me ballet im a 16 year old boy and would love to do ballet .. but i cant really afford to get lessons or really buy any gear :( or if anyone has alternatives that would be fantastic :D what would be the best stuff to wear? because im too embarrassed to really ask my mum and i dont want to tell her :( any advice would be great

  1. If you can find it, get Ballet for Dummies. It sounds like a p**s-take, but it's actually really good, aside from the pronunciation guides. Ignore them. They're completely inaccurate. There's no such thing as a 'dummy pleeuh'.

    You can do class in shorts and a t-shirt, but invest in a dance belt to keep delicate bits still and not squished.
