  1. elphaba and glinda from wicked

  2. Marry The Man Today from Guys and Dolls.

  3. not sure if this counts as "famous," but "For Good" from Wicked could work, I think.

  4. "What Is This Feeling?" "For Good" (Wicked)

    "Class" "Nowadays" (Chicago)

"What About Love" "Our Prayer" (The Color Purple)

"How The Other Half Lives" (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

    "Sisters" (White Christmas)

  5. From my personal experience, anything from Wicked is tiresome and overdone, especially for female duets. And because it is recent and popular, all anyone can do is compare the performance with the cast recording, anyway.

If you would like to do a comedic duet, something like "Marry the Man Today" from Guys and Dolls. For a ballad, I suggest "In His Eyes" from Jekyll & Hyde which is just beautiful. The latter is available with just the accompaniment in itunes.
