  1. Of course.  It is more commonly known as "dandruff" (in adults) or "cradle cap" (in infants).

What would you like to know about it?

    Edit:

One of my sisters had it all over her body from about 9 months until about the age of 12.  Hers itched like crazy though.

My mom used Aveeno products (the have a baby line as well), it's a little pricey, but it helped her a lot.  Use a free and clear detergent on his clothes and try to keep his skin dry (wipe drool off as soon as possible, change his clothes if they get a lot of drool on them, change bibs often, etc).  The only other treatment is steroid creams and I don't blame you for not wanting to use them.

    Good luck!

  2. it a form of eczema. Try to avoid detergents including soap as they may trigger the condition. If its sever you should consult a dermatologist for further treatments.

  3. huh, what's that, never heard of it

  4. Seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp in babies is treated with products that are not as strong as those used in adults. You might start with a mild, nonmedicated baby shampoo. Brushing your baby's scalp with a soft brush, like a toothbrush, can help loosen scales or flakes. But be gentle when massaging or brushing your baby's scalp--a break in the skin makes it vulnerable to infection. If a nonmedicated shampoo doesn't work, talk to your doctor about switching to a shampoo that contains tar. I hope this helps.
