Those looking to try rum straight for the first time are advised to fetch a bottle of Bacardi Gold. It is smoother than Bacardi's Light-Dry and its coffee taste is softer and creamier, and there's an oak presence, no doubt coming from the longer aging time.

The darker the rum, the better the taste. Gold os ok, but if you can find them, these are better: Mount g*y, Appleton, Bacardi Anejo, Pyrat, Black Seal or Cockspur

jack daniels,quervo gold tequila,bacardi rum is good but I havent had the gold .I quit drinking 3 yrs ago lol
