hi i own a citroen saxo 1.4 furio 2002 can any one please tel me how to make it go any faster with out any expensive modifications please help me thanks.

To get good results you must spend good money, but modest gains can be achieved with simple steps.

Start with normal maintennce. Fresh, high quality motor oil, gasoline, clean filters, fresh spark plugs, good ignition cables are a good start.

Synthetic motor oil can reduce friction.

An engine needs to breath. A low restriction air filter (like K&N) can improve volumetric efficiency. A low restriction exhaust system can do the same on the other end. A nitrous oxide injection system can promote fuel oxygenation, but this must be carefully metered or you could melt the pistons. Some engine control modules can be reprogrammed to sacrifice economy and emmissions in favor of more power.

Extra weight will slow you down, so get rid of anything that isn't essential to motivating the car. Empty the trunk, remove the pasenger seats. Eject that heavy subwoofer that rattles the doors. An AC compressor not only adds weight but saps power from the engine. You can get rid of that along with the related plumbing.

If you have more money, a turbocharger or supercharger would offer greater gains.

Anything else requires pulling the engine apart to increase compression, expand the displacement and alter the cam timing. And when you do that, you should beef up the drivetrain components to handle the exra power.

Not possible, you must spend a few hundred pounds to make a 1.4 "really fast".  You could try slipsteaming a volvo on the motorway.

Leave it parked in the inner city with the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition - it will go very fast at no extra expense to you.

easiest and cheap....go with nos....its cheap to get and well make it fast...but chances are youll blow your motor....
