If you buy a Skype mobile on 3, costing £70, you can use that as an internet modem. I think you have to top up by £10 a month, but if you spend £5 of that on Add Internet Max, you can use the Skype phone's built in modem to access the internet on your computer.

Well, technically we know that a phone line is NEEDED for internet, but now it should not literally be a phone itself, well you could use Wi-Fi which is quite common now, but the service is only available where the signal ranges, but now I think it is quite spread enough. To use Wi-Fi you have to buy the external modem for it which comes with a SIM card (the chip that is inserted to mobile phones to use them), this service is quite popular all around now, and any modern laptop supports this gadget, thats the only way I know to get on the net without having a real phone.Try asking your local telecommunication dealers on more help for Wi-Fi and any other options that you could have.

there's something called like skype and you can talk as if you were on a phone through your computer or something. i don't totally understand it. look into that though
