Any one know when new ipod touches will be avalible?

I really REALLY want to get a ipod touch but i know apple usually comes out with new ipods in the fall. Wut new features could a new touch have? i really want it bad ahhhhhhh! its drivin me insane, i know i should just wait do u think the next one will be cheaper? Wut shud i do?? o_o

If there is an update, it probably wont be anything but a memory upgrade, meaning the current ones will drop in price.

I posted a question an hour ago similar to this...

I reasoned that the ipod touch is basically an Iphone without the phone, right?  They had their new iphone less than a month ago, the only improvement being a new wireless format for the phone part.

I think if they were having a new version this year, it would have already happened at least with the iphone, unless they wanted to p**s their loving fans off.

Why would they make a better version and not include it in the more popular iphone that came out less than a month ago?

I would say go for it, I am going to this weekend when my state has a sales tax free weekend.
