  1. yes, it's right volkshochschule (vhs) ist the best and one of the cheapest way to learn a forgein language. For Ingolstadt please check out:

    www.ingolstadt.de/vhs.

Other schools are much more expensive. If possible, try to watch German Tv.

The best way to learn a forgein language is to talk to people who don't t talk your language.

Sozilising with Germans might best the best and cheapest way to learn the language.

Sorry for my mistakes, but I am a German.

  2. Check out your local Volkhochschule (VHS).  My girlfriend is taking a course here near Frankfurt and she is paying € 80 for 10 courses à 1.5 hours.  At the beginning there were 7 people registered - now they are down to 3, which means a great student/teacher ratio.

Otherwise Augsburg is a big enough city where Inlingua may have an office.

  3. If they are good, they won't be cheap.  Try the Goethe Institute website.  They are great.

  4. I agree also, VHS is probably the best and cheapest. They offer also intensive courses, instead of the 1.5 hr courses, you can take like 3 or 4 hrs a day.

  5. I found a person who does all kinds of private lessons in Ingolstadt, his phone number is: +49 176 / 243 32 343

And another, her number is: +49 1629492109

They both seem to discuss hourly rates depending on what you want. I'd tend to go for a private class over VHS, because you never know who you're going to get in your VHS group. The ability range can be very mixed, as can motivation and native language, both of which make a huge difference to progress!
