Any one like art?

i LOVE art but all the classes i want to take cost sooooo much! my family does not have that kind of money. can any one tell me where i can get a cheap art class that is some what advanced? it would help so much. thank!

If you need education, get loans and take college courses. I dont have the money, but thats what I'm trying to achieve. I know its worth it because its my education.

And as far a my experiece goes, people who dont like art say they dont get art. Anyone like that I met work in business or accounting. I figure they have no soul. Seriously WTF?

Do I?! I LOVE art, too! Now thinking of art classes are kind of hard. I tought myself to do art. Get a pencil and paper and express your feelings! The best things in life are free.

There is a wide variety of videos/dvds of classes by professional artists that will teach you all kinds of art techniques.  If you go to d**k Blick's website you will find lots of them.

There are also lots of books that teach drawing, watercolor, acrylic or oil painting, charcoal drawing, etc.

i absolutley love art! the only problem is that i suck at it! but's that's ok because i can still go to museums and enjoy other people's art! teach yourself! that's my approach!

If you are still in high school, ask your art teacher or school counselor for leads.  If you live in or near a large city, there are often free programs for people 18 or younger to learn a variety of arts.  Contact your local chamber of commerce to find out if there's anything.
