What is there to enjoy about a rainy day?

I do like the sound of the rain at night when I'm trying to sleep though.

Why do such ignorant people think we all live in the desert. We're a normal bloody country, just like the rest of the world.

Love rainy days, except for the driving about in it of course, I wish Australia had more rain, but where the farmers are! They really need it in many parts of the country.  Brisbane has been wet and cloudy for a few days, not solid rain, just enough to wet everything on the wash line.

I hate rainy days, makes everything look all depressing but it doesn't really rain much in Perth.

I'm glad when it rains, but I don't particularly like having to walk/drive around in it. It's great when it rains at night and you are tucked up inside with the fire on.

I love rainy days. where I live in northern Australia it rains daily for several months of the year - I especially like the thunderstorms.

Out where i live we are one of the worst affected areas of this drought, so when we have a rainy day, i can honstly see the people of the community become happier! Its amazing, I ride horses, which i cannot do in the rain and it makes my stall increadibly muddy etc but i would NEVER complain  on a rainy day (someone would hit me lol)!!! Rainy days are a little reminder that it can and will get better, ONE DAY!
