  1. Hi Kelcy.  A Honda Rebel 250 would be a better fit for you, I think.

Here's a group forum of people who own (and love) Virago 250's.

    Best of luck!

  2. My cousin Allison has a Route 66 (XV250) and is 4'10".

  3. I did, your too small. It was too slow.

  4. I'm 6'0", 208 lbs and actually sat on a Suzuki GZ250 this afternoon.  It was a little small for me, but should fit you good.

When I stood flat on the floor I could bounce the seat against my inner thighs, just about in the middle of them.  I personally don't like them being that low (but it's a cruiser and that's just how they are).

When seated with my feet on the pegs my knees were quite high and close to my chest.  I felt scrunched, like riding a mini-bike.  The handle bars were low and narrow, but they can be raised a little.  I also felt the seat was too close to the handle bars and pegs.  If I slid up onto the tier of the seat I was fine, but I could never ride like that.

Like I said I'm 6'0", 208 lbs.  You said you were 4'10".  That's a 14" difference.  That being said I think you'll fit just fine.  It's almost as if it was made for people your height.

Stay away from the Honda Rebel.  I thought that was too rinky-dink - even smaller than the GZ250.  Good luck in your search and I hope this helps.

  5. no i don't own one. but it would be best to go sit on one. why take someone word that it will/willnot fit you with out trying it?
