Any one seen the black ghosts or "shadow people"?

Question

Every now and I have seen what some people call the shadow people. They are black, nontransparent, almost cartoon like. They are fast moving also and seem to not want to be seen, running away when looked at.

They are extremely CREEPIER than anything I have ever seen. They just look and feel evil. I say one in the back seat of a car I never drove again and sold real fast, and even saw one at Walmart once sliding along a wall.

And no they are not shadows, that I know for sure.

Disbelieving fools need not reply, go play somewhere else please!

And just because they're "black" doesn't make them a shadow person...there is such a thing as ectoplasm.

i have been ghost hunting for quite some time now,and i have lots of proof,but to this day have not been lucky enough to see the shadow people,but still looking,ever thought about ghost hunting,sounds like you have the nack for it.i could use you on my team.long live the ghost hunter.

We live in Kentucky where my wife and I see shadow people and animals at least twice a month in our home. We never feel threatened by them and since we believe in these things we talk to them as if we were talking to each other. Hope this ok , plus we have three cats that they love to give a hard time to. They would be sitting there and just jump staight up in the air as if someone poked them.

yes i have seen shadow pll two times now 1 at our local cemetary.2nd at our hospital of all places top floor,back in 1996 when my daughter was born went out side to get some air after a very long delivery for the wife,there was two of them it lasted for about 3 seconds and thay darted to my left it was quite fasinating to say the least. 1st time i think thay were curiouse about us being out there i think. Its a sight you never forget thats for sure.

Well I can't say that I have ever seen them yet but it's my hope to some day be able to share what others have already experienced.  I believe they are out there, I just haven't seen them myself

Yes, my wife and I see them quite often.  In fact we got a picture of a shadow person in our home a few weeks ago.  You can see its picture on our groups home page

Yep seen them. It's funny how the eye moves. Our brain registers it faster than the eye.

Usually they appear in a car or in your private space. Sometimes they are just your guardian guides and do not wish to be seen. Many people associate the dark shawdowy figures as "evil" most gnostics or wiccans will tell you that you have just seen a guardian.

If you feel so creepy. And do feel that they are "evil" sage your home and your car. You can also use rosemary to do so.

You think they are creepy because "black shadows" are always associated with evil. It's not the case.

Animals also appear as creepy fleeting things we see black because our eye registers opposite sometimes.

It's not going to hurt you. Ask it what it wants with you.

Yes, I have seen them a few times. I agree that they are not shadows, or tricks of the eyes. Even the best explainations I have seen do not explain the incidences I have seen, or that other people I know have seen.

1) shadow people will react to you. If they become aware that you see them, they bolt. If they turn a corner and end up face to face with you, they bolt.

2) I have seen them walking down hallways, turning into rooms, in broad daylight, dim lighting. I was nowhere near a road, so headlights going by were not an option. In all my sighting, I know it wasnt an actual person either.

Ok, my conclusions on shadow people are this.....

1) They are not dead people. They were never people

2) If there is a natural explaination, we have not found it yet. This is a wide spread phenomena, spanning time and cultures.

It may be spiritual, the only natural explaination I can come up with is some kind of strange, but common mental state, like sleep paralysis type state occuring when you are awake and walking around.

your active third eye or one of the special senses of human is currently active.the shadows moving around the environment are always active but not visible to most people.your status enabled you to see them sub consciously!

I'm a disbelieving fool.I admit it.It takes true intelligence to believe in nonsense.Maybe even genius.I've read about these creatures in the excellent "Odd Thomas"books by Dean Koontz.They're called Bodocs by Odd.Watch out though,he pretends not to see them.The one person he knew, who let them know he saw them.Was Killed soon after.Being a disbelieving fool,I think it's just a book.To a person intelligent enough to know they're real,please watch out.

I saw one once though I never heard the term "shadow people".  Didn't know what to call it.  Initially, I saw it from the corner of my eye.  I had seen many other types of things over the years, so I was very careful not to look suddenly.  I adjusted my eyes slowly and turned my face slowly toward it.  I was brushing my teeth.  I got a very good look at it.  Very detailed.  It was very short and very lean.  It's face looked sort of like a fencing mask but it had obvious markations where eyes would be.  It looked like it could move fast.  It actually peered around the corner of the adjacent wall a few times before "going away".  I was not scared in the least but I was very intrigued.  People think I'm nuts or lying but I swear by what I saw.  No clues what it was but it was not a blip that disappeared when I looked at it.  I looked at it a good 15 secs or so before it left.

I'm so glad I ran into these questions about "Shadow People".  I believe in the paranormal but do not claim to be extra sensitive in any form or fashion, and I avoid situations where I will be frightened.

This being said, I have recently purchased a new home, which I do not feel creepy in or like it is actually haunted.  However, about a month ago, home alone with my kittens, I saw out of the corner of my eye a dark shadow figure of a man walking very fast through my kitchen.  One kitten was at my foot, the other, as soon as I saw the dark shadow, came running to us out of the kitchen "meowing".  I looked back into the kitchen, and even walked by the same way that I had when I saw the shadow figure to see if it was a trick of my eye and try to simulate it again.  I choose to believe I saw a "shadow person".  And animals are supposed to be sensitive to other entities and such, so my kitten, Chachi, corroborates my story.  Glad to be able to share it with people who know what I'm talking about!  

Oh, but before I forget, I didn't feel that it was evil, or demonic, just really creepy.  No one wants to be home alone and see that.  Also, to further describe it, the dark shadow was quite distinct, much more so than a shadow of a person on the wall or ground, this "shadow" was clearly upright and walking.

I see them quite often, most are not scary to me, but every once in awhile I feel creepy ones.

I am pretty good at seeing "shadow people",Ghosts, and Angels.

Now only if I knew how to draw what I see.

No, I have not. I have seen shadows, I have seen tricks of vision out of the corner of my eye, and I've seen illusions of shadow and light straight on. But that's all they were.

If these shadow people are present in the world then they occupy space and are observable.  Why is it that almost all sightings happen out of the corner of your eye?  Which is more likely, that a totally distinct creature exists that is only observable by an extremely small percent of the population (and only out of the corners of their eyes), or that you are experiencing an optical illusion?

I see them every now and then. And yes, several times in the back seat of a car.

I don't mind them being around, although it's scary sometimes.

What I don't like about them is that some of them occupy the bathroom in the morning when I try to get ready to go to work. I was late again today.......

Well, my ex used to see them.  However, it turned out to be some kind of psychological problem that she had.

I do really believe that she thought she saw these things, although I could never see them.

One time she claimed to see two eyes looking at her through a window, and then they disappeared into a puff of smoke, and turned into a small whirlwind and streaked across the yard.

I do think that she believed she saw this, but whether anyone else could is a big question.

I personally have never seen anything like this, although I would like to.
