Ok i have surfed a few times and i have fallin in love with it. i really love longboards and i am not up to spending 800 bux when i am just beginning so i was wondering where i can get a 8'10 or a 7'3 long board i dont mind soft boards or hard boards i am used to both i am just tired of renting them its so annoying so i am look to purchase one online or a at surfstore in or around myrtle beach area. and NO POP OUTS they are a waste of time and money!!!!! so web links or stores that you know of with good prices please list

  2. You can try getting a surfboard made by a company called "Blue"...these are cheaper bc they are not hand made, but rather manufactured...heres a couple of sites...oh and i would get a fun board...it feels like a longboard, but it can turn like a short..

  3. John F. will be the first to tell you to go to a local surf shop, so go to one and ask to see their used boards. Don't bother with stuff online until you know what you're looking for in a board. Here are a couple of surf shops. Surf City (843-626-7919), Xtreme Surf and Skate (843-626-2262), Bert's Surf Shop (843 272-7458), North Shore Surf Shop (843-2495169), Ron Jon's Surf Shop (Barefoot Landing), and Village Surf Shop/Perfection Surfboards (843-626-8176).
