  1. I have been to the outlet stores outside Rome (called Castelli Romani and outside Milan -- both owned by the same group you mentioned. I have also been to the free standing Prada outlet store, south of Florence, in Levanella.

    The prices are excellent, and typically up to 50 and 60% off Last Years merchandise or very slow moving stuff. But I have bought lot's of Prada, and Versace clothing at their stores, not to mention Etro and D&C and Parati linens. They are well worth the visit if you are near either of the three cities. Rome and Milan's outlet centers are eay to find, Prada less so -- and it's not marked as a Prada store. It's a factory distributor on Via Bon Corpi.
