I know they get insane gas mileage, (I'm looking at one that can reach speeds of at least 50 mph), but are they reliable? Do they require alot of maintenance? Please give my all the pro's and con's and the model if you know it. Thanks!

  1. check with edmunds.com or kbb.com  ??

  2. True, they are expensive and not without problems. Vespa is an icon and you're paying for the name. Kymco is a brilliant product for half the price. Well worth considering the People 150 if you want the 'classic' look with a great price tag.

  3. They are very good just expensive, The best buy on the market are Kymco scooters will do ever thing a Vespa will for less money and your not  paying for any Japanese name like you do with Honda and Suzuki. Kymco has many styles and sizes to fit your needs. And in the 6  years I have been around them most often all they need is normal maintenance. I can count the times a bad one came in on one hand and have fingers left.

  4. Vespas are cool and very reliable. They go from engine size 50cc to 200cc. If you want to maintain highway speeds I would buy one of at least 150cc.
