I'm looking to get new clubs. I shoot in the mid to high 90's and I have a slice. I've only ever had a crappy set of wal Mart specials. I'm probably gonna get game improvement irons as most people i've talked to recommend those. I've hit a number of clubs. I hit the Adams a3 OS pretty well. I like the fact that the 3, 4, and 5 irons are actually hybrid irons (much easier to hit). Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  1. This is an opinion question.  So in my opinion yes the Adams are good clubs.  I had the A1 pro's and loved them I just recently upgraded to the A3.  Unfotunately I live in the Northeast so I have not had them on the course yet.  But hit them well on the practice range.  I had Callaway X16's before the Adams, I prefer the Adams.

  2. I just purchased a set of these for my father.  He is a novice golfer, and the set up of the clubs is slightly offset is perfect for someone who may tend to hit the ball with a left to right ball flight.  You shoot in the 90s, so this may be a good club for you as it is more tailored towards game improvement as opposed to what golf magazines refer to as a players club.  However, one point of caution: your scores may soon drop into the 80s, and you may 'outgrow' these clubs as your game improves.  These will not have the feel or the shot shaping capabilities that other, more traditional clubs might have for you as your game continues to improve.  Nonetheless, these Adams clubs are well made and a good value.  Good luck!
