  1. All airlines are cramped. Take the business class to be sure.

Philippine Airlines is not that bad in service. There are better airlines but not that many. You can do worse than PAL.

  2. Go Business Class so you have more leg space

  3. My 1st. trip to the Philippines I flew on PAL, it was the most uncomfortable trip I have ever made as all the seats were for shorter people & I am only 6'1" 175 lbs. From Frisco to Manila we stopped in Hawaii to refuel but did not even get out of the plane! Why take a chance?

  4. All airlines make their seats roomy and comfortable....for a 10 year old runt.  Unless you get a 1st class Sofa/recliner its like sardines in there.  Ask for exit row seat when you check in, there's more leg room there.  But those seats go fast and its still tight side to side.  Its a miserable 14 hours

  5. get a business class if travelling from the state or europe.more leg room and space for a big fella like you.paying extra will make it easier for you.

  6. i am 6"3 and i have traveled in Philippines Airlines eco. class it is good comfortable Airline

  7. If you are flying for a long period of time like 6 hours and more you should take the business class seat.  I think its not just Philippine Airlines but most airlines that I took (I am not even 6 footer) seems to be crowded if its economy class. I took Cathay and Singapore Air before and it has the same seats as that of PAL in the economy class so I guess you should take business class seat.

  8. Try and book early and request an exit row seat. You can go to the PAL website and look for their seat configuration and you can look as to what seat # (aisle, window or center). This would really help you stretch your legs as it's a long flight to Manila. This is on the economy fare.

But if you prefer fist class, that's another matter....

  9. Philippine Airlines made by Boing and Airbus, can accomodate even 8 footer.
