  1. Absolutely not!  Spend the money on the clubs you hit best.  If you hit the big bertha's the best, then i would say yes.  But do not buy them solely for the name.  There are plenty of other clubs out there that are much better compared to those calloways.  I would recommend either mizuno, taylormade, titleist, nike, and so on.  For a higher handicapper, i would probably go with the cleveland TA series, or maybe Nike slingshots.  Better handicapper, Titleist 695cb's, mb's, Mizuno MP30,MP60, and so on.  Go to your local golf shop and hit as many as you can.

  2. $600 is a perfectly reasonable price for a quality set of irons. Go to a well stock golf store and try them side by side with every other club that catches your eye. And make sure you get them fit, otherwise you're throwing money down the toilet.

And whatever you do, do NOT buy them online. Anyone who spends that kind of money on quality clubs without ever hitting them or having them fitted is a fool.

  3. worth every penny

  4. I would say No. It's tough to shell out $600 when you know a year down the road the same club will e 50% less or more. Say it does deliver vs. some 2007 models...is the extra 3yds worth it?

  5. any top of the line golf clubs are worth the money. shop around and maybe you can find them cheaper or go on line.
