I'm looking to get a set of game improvement irons. I've never had a good set of irons. I shoot in the high 90's and I want to change that, starting with getting good clubs that will help me straighten out and add distance. I'm a righty and I tend to slice/fade. Any recommendations and arguments for/against certain clubs would be great.

  1. Callaway X20's

  2. Im in the market for irons myself,if i had 600 i would buy the callaway big bertha 2008s,but since i only have about 300,im getting adams A2os irons

  3. Cleveland Hi-bore hands down. They will change your life. I went from not hitting greens inside of 190 yards to hitting greens as far as 230 yards with these irons. I am a 18 handicap and falling.

    Was a 23 last spring.

  4. Definitely go with the Cobra S9 or FP irons.  The feel amazing and are very forgiving.  They are also very cheap compared to most other irons.  I have the FPs and they are the best irons I've ever played, and they only cost $500 new!  I think the S9s go for around $600-$700 dollars and are a little more forgiving than the FPs.  The FPs have a little more playability.

Last years S9s and FPs are going for vey good prices.

  5. Nike Sumo irons, TaylorMade r7 draw, Cobra S9, Mizuno MX950.  Won't go wrong with any of these.  Just demo a set at your local golf shop.
