Any other BC Lions fans out there?

If so who is your favorite player and why?

I don't know the players well enough to name a favorite but I like the Lions because they are the "local" team (I live in Bellingham, Washington, just over the wrong side of the border, so to speak).  I am happy with their recent successes and Grey Cup victories.  And why not?  Lots of people come down from the Lower Mainland to watch Seattle Seahawks games.

Time was when one could catch the CFL more easily in the States (I watched some games when I was a kid in New York).  But at least here I can follow the news in The Province.

Erm, whoever said the Lions don't ever win the Grey Cup obviously hasn't been watching football very long...

Personally, I'm no fan of the Lions, so that's all I'm gonna say.

I am happy to see how far the Lions have come, does anyone else remember when they where sold for a Loonie? It was awful but look at them now congrats.My favourite would have to be the O-line I just loved that Murphy what has happened to them? ...Go Eskies.

Yeah, I've been a fan of the Lions since the seventies. I was at the Grey Cups in '94 (Vancouver) and 2000 (Calgary) when they won. Favourite players ever are Al Wilson and Lui Passaglia. Favourite current players are Paris Jackson and Brent Johnson.

And Sarah, yes I remember those sad days for the franchise. Murray Pezzim was a complete disaster as an owner.

Well im not a bc lion fan cuz they dont win the grey cup ever, but ill say Geroy Simon, hes always been a great player, no Milt Stegall but 2nd best to him aint bad.
