Well, if you are a true devotee, you should watch the first zombie movie, which was most likely, by definition, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. (1920). It's a bit more difficult of a study than 28 Days (great movie!), but historically it was incredibly important. Watching it is much like reading Chaucer, but well worth the effort.

(Of course, if you like modern zombies, you can always tune into political convention coverage or daytime TV...)

Night of the living dead (Remake from 90's) is awesome.

Pet Sematary ( Not a lot of zombies), but one of my favs.

30 days of night (Brutal, like vampire zombies), really gory.

Yeah, Dead Alive is a masterpiece. You won't be disappointed.

if u can find it, Dead Alive.Its from the director of Lord of the rings and its awesome. and btw, all the resident evil's are awful-don't bother.with any of em.

Night of the living dead and the sequels are pretty good, but you pretty much got em nailed.  I just hope you mean the Dawn of the Dead the original, because the the remake was horrible.  I still consider the original the best zombie flick of all time.
