  1. Volunteering might be what you're looking for.  Try checking out idealist.org and volunteermatch.org to find opportunites in your community.

  2. Breadline Africa is an online charity aimed at alleviating the cycle of poverty...

You can either donate online or raise awareness for the site by posting a link on your blog or website, or simply by telling friends about it.

  3. You've gotten some great answers - if you don't have money, volunteer your time.  Charities are going through a very tough time now and in many instances, volunteers are doing what staff people used to do.  Find a charity whose mission you're passionate about and contact them about volunteering.

Charities often need "stuff".  If you don't have money (and who does these days?) you might have something that a charity could use.  It's one of those "another man's trash is someone else's treasure".  Even small things are very much appreciated.  When I was executive director of a charity, someone brought in a bunch of miscellaneous office supplies - extra pens, tablets, envelopes, etc.  Other people donated old office chairs, old printers, etc.

Call a charity you're interested in helping and ask if you can make an "in kind" donation - that's giving "stuff" instead of money.  You might have something collecting dust that could be very useful to a charity.

    Good luck!

  4. start your own lol. have to go to church tomorrow, a couple of them wish i would leave...

  5. Try volunteering in your community. There are many programs, such as Habitat for Humanity that allow you to participate in building homes for people less fortunate. You could also volunteer at a soup kitchen or something similar. Charity is not always about giving money. It can be about giving time and sweat as well.
