My son is 6 and he's been diagnosed with Klinefelter's syndrome which causes him to have amongst other things, usually small p***s and almost no testes. We've decided not to treat him with hormones because we researched it may cause more harm to his body than good. I'm wondering if there are any parents who have boys with abnormally small genitals? Have you considered surgery or hormones to treat it? Do you know of someone who has a son with small genitalia?

  1. Your son has an extra gene that is feminine and may not be functionally viable as a man. May grow breast something called gynecomastia. May look like a true girl.

  2. I dated a man years ago who was really small...like 2 inches hard. I only know that he had spina bifida... his parents did not really share much of his medical history with him.

  3. My ex has xxy syndrome. Your lucky your boy was caught now. They say 1 in 500 men has this syndrome. But its often missed diagnosed as ADHD when they are young. When they grow up to find they can't have children is when most xxy men find they have this problem.

There are groups for xxy syndrome and there is also a yearly meeting (national conference) for xxy syndrome. Where people from all over get together and discuss this syndrome. There are also funds that can be applied for to make sure you can attend these meetings.

We used to travel 2 hours once a month to attend a meeting in Boston. It allowed me to learn more about his diagnosis. It allowed him to meet more men like him.

I couldn't tell you how to treat your son. But you can join online groups too for xxy and talk to just parent and adults with this syndrome to see how they have treated it.

I guess this years meeting is on Auguest 8th, 9th and tenth. In Denver Colorado. So you would probably miss it . But if you contact them I bet they would send you updated materials that they have on hand.
