If you moved there, you may want to register in the contact list of the Aware center. A non-governmental organization works toward increase awareness & improve relations between westreners & Kuwiait / Arab / Islamic cultures. They have many fun activities & mostly family oriented. Some are indoors & some are outdoors.

i live in kuwait ... it's safe... education in American or British schools is really good... no taxes.... send me an email if u have any questions i am willing to help :)

I can only speak from second hand knowledge, as I am an International teacher who has listened to colleagues who lived there.  The two families I've known absolutely loved it.  Children, I am told, are treated with great affection, and both families appreciated the cultural values from which they felt their children were benefitting.  One family broke their contract with our school in order to return to Kuwait, as they preferred it to the Dominican Republic.  I wasn't considering Kuwait, but would after speaking with these friends.

In kuwait you will find out of every 10 expatriate, 2 american families, living in compoundes etc............. good schools and university etc...............
