Question:

Any phone service nerds out there?

OK, so I live in Denver and I'm starting a business. I was hoping just to use my cell phone but for reasons I won't bore you with, I need a dedicated business number that is listed with directory assistance. So my question is: what's the cheapest way to get that? I don't need a whole working phone account. I don't even need to be able to call out. At most I would need an outgoing message that directs callers to dial my cell phone number.

So does anyone know of any inexpensive solutions? Thanks for your help.

P.S. - VOIP won't work b/c those numbers are unlisted and I need mine to be listed, so please don't suggest that.

  1. You could try getting a business line from AT&T then once it's established with a yellow pages add then port that telephone number to your cell phone and that will automatically cancel the business line.

The start up cost might be a little steep but once you port it then it's just you, an advertised telephone number and your cellphone.

  6. I would get a landline phone to your home or business, and get 'Call Forwarding', which will send all your calls to your cell phone, when you want to. Other calls can be routed to voicemail either from your home phone or cell phone.
