  1. Depending on what it is that interests you. Perhaps Peggy's Cove ( if you like the ocean and don't mind climbing rocks), Annapolis royal is very beautiful ( they have a place called "historic gardens" another beautiful spot), In Cape Breton is the Cabot trail and fortress Louisburg~ never been to the fort but heard it is ver ineresting) and of course there is Halifax ~we have many many restaurants/pubs/dance clubs, a great waterfront to sit and people watch with a coffee/tea or hop on one of the boats down there for a harbour cruise. There is one called the harbour hopper..it will take u on a guided tour of the city then take you out into a guided tour of the harbour in the water. They used to be army amphibians(?sp) land water vessels. Tere's a lot to do in Halifax. Right in middle of our city is Citadel hill...an old British Fortress, you can go in and go  on a tour or look for urself.  There's a lot of other places to discover as well in NS...Sherbrook village (a village from the 1800's i think) , A historical village u can walk around and see how it was back then. Anyways i hope u enjoy ur visit!! :)

  2. The South Shore is beautiful, particularly Lunnenburg.  It's now recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site that offers rich history and educational opportunities for tourists set in a quaint and old fashioned small town surrounding.

On the Fundy Shore, Annapolis Royal is a beautiful historic area, which isn't far from Upper Clements, Upper Clements Park being our largest amusement park.

If traveling east from there along the Fundy Shore, Alyesford is another small community that features Oaklawn Farm Zoo, which is great for siteseeing, and for interactive opportunities with the animals.

Of course too, Halifax is great, fun nightlife, and everything you could think of to keep you busy through the day.

It's worth checking out NS's main tourism site http://novascotia.com/en/home/default.as... which can be a great tool for trip planning, calculating distances from place to place, etc. And make the people at the little tourist bureauxs your friends! Any official town (or the one city) in the province will have at least one visitor information centre and there staff can provide you with loads of travel help and info, directions, and can let you in on all the little extras their town offers.

  3. The South Shore: Chester, New Ross , Mahone Bay and Lunenburg are musts.
