Any places that allow 13 year old to volunteer in Lee's Summit, Missouri?

It is the summer before school starts again, and I am bored stiff and would love to do some volunteer work. So, if you are from Lee's Summit, I'd like to ask if you know of any places that would allow me to volunteer at. I'd like to help with elderly people or anything with cats/dogs, so yup. Anything would do, unless it is babysitting. I can not do that to save my life. Lol. Your help would be deeply appreciated :)

Yes, there are quite a few actually. I am Missouri too, so I am familiar with a few. I will also give you the links.

Public works department and the animal shelter I know are looking for someone.

Missouri Baptist Children's Home too.

There are also some government state, county and local.

This should give you a lot to choose from.
