would like to give my sister who is turning 70 a nice poem. I cant write worth a darn. Her name is Janice, she is married to Jerry, they have 7 children (5 from a his first marriage and 2 from hers, both their spouses died), Julie, Scott, Jeff, Mike, Scott, Chris, Amy. They have 10 granchildren. She has 11 syblings in her family. 2 who passed away 1 as a child, and one just a year ago (sandy). She still works, and doesnt seem to want to retire. Mother Leona is still alive, father passed away in 1989. Baby sister (me) is Vicki. She is the oldest of all the children.

So if you can write some nice poem using some of this info I would be forever greatful. If you need more info let me know.

  1. the best poem is poem from the heart. even if the you rhyme janice with spanish she'll appreciate your love and effort.

Years and Years have gone by and by

But the sun still rises into the sky.

Janice, your more than a sister to me,

A friend and a mentor you'll always be.

You've proved to us all that you're invincible,

And even though you can be stuburn and unconvincible.

Forever I'll love you and hope you give some back,

We've taken care of one another and picked up the slack.

So here's to another birthday to add to your chart,

I hope there's many more, from the bottom of my heart.
