Any police force workers out there ?

Question

Can you describe to me what you do and if you enjoy it or not.

Im considering it as a career choice and would like to know what it is you do and the positive an negatives of all jobs in the police force.

The part I enjoy most is the variety, and never knowing what is going to happen next. It prevents you from being bored most the time.

The biggest negative is regardless of what you do, there are going to be people who dislike, or even despise you. A traffic accident is a common example. No matter what you do, someone is going to be upset with being found at fault, or both will be upset if you find no one at fault.

Many can describe it many different ways but if you have really thought about being a law enforcement officer in my opinion you should request a ride along with the department you are planning on applying for. That way you can get first hand experience on what its all about. For me it has been the best decision of my life. :)
