Any police officers who work in vice, narcotics and SWAT?

How is it to work in that division also are there any experiences that you can share. I'm interested in working in one of these divisions one day. It just calls out to me

Vice squad very interesting undercover work without working under the covers.

Narcotics work is really a hype, lots of officers are assigned for 3-4 years and then out. Have seen some stay in longer and almost lost to the underworld.
